Happy Midsummer Tinkers!

Midsummer is now only a day away and it feels like a good time to provide you with an update regarding some of the things that are happening here at Tink. It seems that time has simply flown by, because it was almost exactly a year ago that we started the business, and in April we launched our first beta version where you can currently connect your accounts from eleven banks, four credit card companies and CSN. We can’t honestly say that everything has gone perfectly smoothly, but what we can say is that, without the help we received from all our beta testers, we definitely wouldn’t have gotten to where we are today.

The latest product-related news is that we have recently released an updated version of our categorisation engine, and now approx. 85 per cent of all transactions are categorised automatically. We have received loads of smart tips about how the categorisation process can be made even better, and our “to do” list is still extremely long!

A lot of new and exciting things will be happening during the summer and autumn, for example you will be able to get to know those of us who work at Tink a little better, you will be able to join us during the recording of a film about Tink, and you will see the introduction of a number of smart new functions. We must, however, wait a bit longer before we disclose any details, since we don’t want to ruin the surprise!

During the year our team has also grown considerably, and it has been our pleasure to welcome Johannes, Cornelia, Jon, Sandra, Isak, Andreas, Fredrik and Per to Tink. We are also extremely proud of the fact that Avanza’s former CEO, Nicklas Storåkers, has accepted the post of Chairman of the Board for Tink AB.

We are delighted to see that so many people want to test Tink and, what’s more, that they are so interested and willing to give us so many useful tips about how we can further improve the service. We promise that we will do everything we can to make it even easier and more fun for Tink’s users to gain improved control of their private finances. Please don’t ever hesitate to contact us via email, Facebook or Twitter. We always look forward to hearing what you think and what ideas you have.

Finally, we at Tink would like to wish you all a wonderful Midsummer!

Daniel & Fredrik
